Client
Settings
Profile, onboarding review, Google and CMS connections, reports and subscription for the active client.
Settings is shown under Client and holds configuration for the active business. It is a split pane: a left rail with the client identity, six sections and a Setup Progress bar, a sticky header with the breadcrumb and Edit or Save, and one panel that swaps in the middle. The section you opened last is remembered per user and per client.
Sections
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Profile | Branding, business details, contacts, address, locations and the blog schedule. |
| Onboarding Profile | A read-only review of the six setup steps. |
| Google Connections | Connect Google and select the business location. |
| CMS Connections | WordPress and Shopify publishing access. |
| Reports | Automated report delivery. |
| Subscription | Billing status for the client. |
Profile
Read-only until you press Edit. Save opens a "Save Client Changes?" confirmation, Cancel reverts.
- Branding: logo, plus background and border colour pickers with a Transparent toggle.
- Company Name is required and must be unique across clients.
- Abbreviation is capped at 5 characters and is generated automatically when left blank.
- Website is locked, because it is the unique SEO tracking ID for the client.
- Blog Base URL is optional. Blank means the hosted blog. Point it at the client’s own site once the widget is installed there, since published links and Google Business "Learn More" links resolve through it.
- Phone must be 10 digits, in local format.
Client Type
Local or National, always live rather than behind Edit, and available to agency admins only. The dialog lists the impact before it applies. Nothing is deleted: local features are hidden while the client is National.
Other Profile fields
- Industry decides which directories appear in Citations.
- Primary Contact and Recipients: both lists fall back to the primary contact when left blank, and emails are validated.
- Headquarters: address autocomplete fills street, city, state, postal code and coordinates. The Google Maps URL is generated from the name and address, and the map preview shows outside edit mode.
- Locations: full create, edit and delete for additional business locations.
- Blog Generation Schedule saves immediately and has no Edit button.
- The profile completion percentage counts six fields.
Onboarding Profile
A read-only review of the six setup steps. Each one carries an Edit action that jumps to wherever that data now lives, rather than editing a copy here.
Google Connections
Connect through Google’s own hosted screen, then pick the business location inside AgentixSEO. The listing ID and last refresh time are shown. When something is wrong, an amber state names exactly what is missing rather than failing silently, and the empty state is explicit. Locations belonging to other clients are never shown.
CMS Connections
Two cards, WordPress and Shopify. A connection lets AgentixSEO pull pages for auditing, push approved titles, meta descriptions and content without the script, publish articles, and sync products. Credentials are stored server side and never reach site visitors.
Reports
One card, Automated Reports, set to weekly or monthly. Saving schedules the next run 7 or 30 days out. It requires an active agency context, and it will not save as enabled without a recipient.
Subscription
| Case | What you see |
|---|---|
| Agency-owned client | "Managed by <agency>" with no billing controls. |
| Independent client, active | Active at $795/mo with the next billing date, plus Manage Subscription and Refresh Status. |
| Independent client, inactive | Subscribe Now. |
Client-specific settings
Changes here apply to the active client only. Use Agency → Settings for configuration that affects every business in the agency.
