Press Release

Write a release from a headline and a few details, keep it as a draft, then distribute it.

Press Release writes a complete, distribution-ready release from a short brief. The screen has three panels in the left rail, Create, Drafts and Published, and a resizable split: the brief and the release list on the left, the release itself on the right.

Generation uses the client’s AI Training and profile, so the business name, services, service areas, tone, contact details and boilerplate facts come from the account rather than being invented.

The Story Configuration form is short on purpose.

Headline FocusThe main news hook. Required, and it drives the whole release.
Core DetailsBullet points, data or executive quotes the release should include.
ToneProfessional, Casual, Urgent or Breaking, Celebratory, or Informative.
AudienceWho it is written for, for example trade press, local press or consumers.
Start From TemplatePreset briefs you can apply as a starting point, then edit.

What the release contains

  • Headline and subheadline.
  • Dateline, lead paragraph and body in standard release structure.
  • A quote attributed to a named spokesperson.
  • A boilerplate paragraph about the business.
  • A media contact block with the details journalists reply to.

Drafts and Published

A generated release is saved as a draft. Drafts can be edited, distributed or deleted. Distribution is a paid action at $99 per release, and once distributed the release moves to Published, where it can be edited, distributed again for another $99, or deleted.

Walkthrough

  1. 1

    Write the hook

Enter the headline focus, for example "Acme Plumbing opens second Austin location".

  2. 2

    Add the substance

Put the facts, figures and any quote material into Core Details. This is what separates a release from an advert.

  3. 3

    Set tone and audience

For a community announcement, a casual tone aimed at local press reads better than a formal one.

  4. 4

    Generate and review

Read the quote so it sounds like the person named, and check the boilerplate facts (founding year, service area, certifications) against the client profile.

  5. 5

    Confirm the contact block

The media contact name, email and phone are the real reply-to details, so confirm them before distributing.

  6. 6

    Distribute

Distribution sends the release out at $99. It then lives in Published.

Reuse the release

A published release makes a good blog post, Business Profile update and outreach hook. Generate once, adapt three times.
