Scout AI
The in-app assistant that can read the account and carry out platform work for the active client.
Scout AI is the assistant built into AgentixSEO. It is not a documentation chatbot: it works on the active client’s real data and can run platform actions on request. Replies stream in as they are written, and each action Scout takes is shown in the conversation with its result.
Scout uses the selected agency and client as its working context, so choose the business first. The conversation persists for the session and is saved to History.
What Scout can do
Scout works through named tools, so a request turns into real work rather than a suggestion. The groups below cover what is available.
| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Content | Write a blog post, a batch of posts, a geo article, a topical map, a press release, a blog image, a Google Business post, or a Google Business post from an existing blog. |
| Publishing | List blogs, publish a blog, deploy a blog. |
| Audits and pages | Run an SEO audit, optimise a page’s SEO, read past reports, generate a client report. |
| Keywords and rankings | Read keywords, read local grid searches. |
| Authority | Read domain metrics, refresh domain metrics, read backlinks, summarise the backlink profile. |
| Visibility | Analyse LLM visibility, read citations, submit a URL for indexing. |
| Tasks | Create a task, approve a task, list tasks. |
| Reporting | Read analytics for the client. |
Using it
- 1
Select the business
Scout reads and writes against the active client, so confirm the selection before asking for work.
- 2
Ask for a specific outcome
Name the result you want, for example "write three blog posts about emergency plumbing and leave them as drafts", rather than asking a broad question.
- 3
Watch the actions
Each tool Scout runs appears in the conversation as running, complete or failed, with what it returned.
- 4
Review before anything ships
Generated content lands as drafts and tasks still need approval, so you keep the final say on what goes live.
- 5
Continue or start fresh
History reopens a saved conversation and can continue it. New Chat closes the current session, which stays in History, and starts a clean one.
Where to find it
- A full Scout AI screen in the client navigation.
- A Scout launcher in the header, available from any screen.
- History, listing saved conversations with the option to read or continue one.
Scout and the docs assistant are different
Scout AI inside the app works on client data. The Ask Scout assistant in these docs answers questions about the documentation and cites the pages it used.
